The Airborne Toxic Event might be from L.A, but there’s no sign of sunshine here, just more of the Morrissey-esque self-deprecation of their debut. Things do get a bit more cuddly on the stripped-down version of ‘Sometime Around Midnight’, though. Well, a bit.
